In 1987 a rare event took place in the heavens as a Super Giant Blue Star went “Supernova”. Supernova is when a massive star exhausts its nuclear fuel and explodes. This propels vast amounts of star stuff outwards filling the surrounding space with hydrogen, helium and other gases that we need for our very existence. This was only the fifth Supernova to be observed in our galaxy in the last 1,000 years. Its’ effects will continue for 100,000 years! Science writer, Donald Goldsmith wrote; “Supernovas make cosmic ray particles, cosmic ray particles produce mutations, mutations drive evolution. The supernova of 1987 can be seen as the latest in the chain of events that shaped our solar system, our Earth and ourselves.” These are actual living energies, codes of light and of new life. True to the ancient axiom “As above, So below” at the same time, Jose Arguelles, visionary teacher, peace pilgrim and author of the well-known book “The Mayan Factor” initiated the “Harmonic Convergence”. This took place on August 16-17, 1987 as a world wide gathering and celebration of people all over the world to create and strengthen a unification field of consciousness and the opening of the heart chakra on the Earth Grid.
