In early 2003, Mars the Warrior male planet of fire, energy and power retrograded (review time) for a long time and came closer to Earth than it had in many thousands of
years. This ignited the war in Iraq and brought to the surface anger and frustration for the misuse of power of the governments of the world by people demonstrating in mass all over the world.

June 8, 2004, Venus the Love Goddess and female planet of union, attraction, beauty and harmony retrograded (review time), and eclipsed our Sun for the first time in our
lifetime. The Venus passage between the Earth and Sun occurs every 122 years. The feminine energies of Venus that have been eclipsed (overshadowed) by the masculine energies of the Sun will now rise to restore proper balance between the sexes. The Venus passage has been called the “Celebration of Oneness” and brings with it great strides in global communication, unity and female empowerment. Venus is asking us to first, transform our relationship with ourselves and then with others coming from a place of acceptance and forgiveness. During her passage the power of transformational Pluto was opposing Venus. Oppositions make us aware of the need for balance. Venus wants us to heal and open our hearts to feel safe to Love and attract beauty, peace and harmony. The Venus eclipse comes in pairs. The next being in June of 2012. We have these next 8 years, to “Get it Together” and make the great shift. By then the unity and equality of male -female must come into balance for ourselves and our planet to survive. It is up to each and everyone to make this happen.

Resurrection of Sedna- the Tsunami of 2004 & Hurricane Katrina In March 2004 another new planet was announced to the world. The planet was named, Sedna after the Inuit peoples of Canada and Alaskas Goddess of the Sea. Sedna’s story is of woman being abused by the Father (patriarchy) and then was finally honored as the giver of life, Mother of all living and Goddess of the Sea. When she is not being honored the Ocean waters rise & life is destroyed. Much as the story of Mary Magdalen and so many other Goddess and woman figures throughout her story. This is another sign of the importance of the resurrection and re-emergence of the divine feminine appearing now to give birth to a new life sustaining planetary consciousness.
